The Bambu Lab X2D is the second-generation printer in the acclaimed X Series, now optimized for advanced dual-material workflows. Featuring an innovative dual-nozzle system, it combines a Direct Drive head for model materials with a Bowden-fed auxiliary head for support structures. This makes the X2D the ultimate tool for creating complex engineering components requiring specialized supports for a flawless finish on a build volume of up to 256 x 256 x 260 mm.
- Nozzle Switching Mechanism: Mechanical switching tested for over 1 million cycles without loss of performance.
- Hybrid Extrusion: Direct Drive for main material and Bowden for support material.
- Build Volume: Print capacity up to 256 x 256 x 260 mm (235.5 x 256 x 256 mm in dual-nozzle mode).
- Sensor-Driven Precision: 31 sensors continuously monitor material flow, temperature, and safety.
- Active Chamber: Heated build chamber up to 65 °C for engineering materials.
- Advanced Filtration: Three-stage air purification with G3 pre-filter, HEPA H12, and activated carbon.
- Quiet and Accurate: Noise level below 50 dB and motion accuracy down to 50 µm (with optional Vision Encoder).
