The rotary encoder can count the quantity of output pulse in the positive and negative direction rotation. The rotation counting is unlimited, unlike rotary potentiometer count.
The D shaft (or called switch/knob) on this module can be rotated and clicked (push down).
Click the D shaft on this rotary encoder module, the encoder can be reset to the initial state, that starts counting from 0.
